Maybe not but this is a great printer at a great price. I just sold a used one for $90. I then bought the 2740 which does duplex scanning.

I think you will have hard time finding a consumer grade laser multi-function with full duplex scanning and printing at this price point.

Then, when you find one (maybe in year 2055), and post it, someone will chime in that it does not have a built in stapler or whole puncher.

True, but I don't see mention of auto feed for scanning, and that's hardly futuristic in a consumer unit. Although it might be at this price point

I have a 2740 and it ALWAYS disconnected after a few hours. You had to manually reconnect WLAN and that could take upwards of 5 minutes EVERY time.

Then I updated the firmware and it hasn't dropped a connection in months. Solid printer.

many govt agencies (state/city, and fed?) wont take email.
you could either fed ex the docs to them or fax if you really want them to have your info NOW.

If you guys think wireless is going to be reliable, you are going to be shock. Hence why I only buy printers that have ethernet port. Most reliable.
