Still have a bottle I use occasionally. Don't, and I repeat, DON'T use this just prior to taking a leak. You'll be dancing around for a while.

If you want the best pain relief product that is OTC, get a bottle of Fortex Rubbing Oil which has the highest allowed percentage of methyl salicylate at 40%. I've been in pharmaceutical sales (rx and otc) for 25 years and this stuff is just the best as a over the counter product. Main ingredient in Biofreeze is menthol..weak. For minor discomfort, it's just ok, but for real pain, the Fortex is great as it gets down deep to the nerve fibers. Many pain physicians are prescribing it for those that are on the various opiates pain meds as a much healthier alternative. Tooth ache pain? Stuff works in minutes for pain relief as one can just rub on with a q-tip. I broke a tooth on a backpacking trip and it saved me from extreme pain.

Any better than the roll on? Wasn't impressed with it.

Never used the roll on but we use the gel for sprains and it is amazing; provides instant and lasting relief so we can get through with chores, work and kids.

Just got a free sample last week but haven't had a chance to use. The giant bottle is actually cheaper per OZ if you need a lot.

Lots of comments that some sellers send imitation products. Frown

Seems that some identified the difference as the imitation has 3.5% and the 4.0% is in the real product.

I can say that we bought from Amazon.com LLC directly a few months back and ours works well. It has 4.0% on the label.

How long does this stuff last? (in terms of the expiration date: I might not use all of it if it expires relatively soon)

Appears to just be a gel with 4% menthol in it. Nothing magic.

This isn't the roll on, it's the pump, which I don't like. Stuff is magic but gel dries out too fast.

I used the spray and loved it for my back where I couldn't rub it on.
