Uh, I don't think you're referring to the original FPS Wolfenstein because that came out in 1991.

Not sure which one you consider "the original", but The New Order is badass and worth far more than $7.20.

Yes it was around the same time as the original Doom so probably '91

Both these games are awesome! I've played all the way through both and the stories are pretty satisfying to me. Definitely worth it for these prices.

I have played through Wolfenstein: The New Order. I had a great time with it; overall a well-made FPS. Excellent story, great characters, clean gunplay with a touch of arcade-like stealth kills, a decent variety of enemies. My only complaint was the length. I finished my play-through in 11 hours, and the game offers little by way of replay value. If you would spent $7 on a movie that lasts 2 hours than I would say its worth dropping the same seven bills on a good weekend of killin Nazis. BTW between Metro and Wolf TNO I enjoyed Wolf better, but played Metro a larger amount of time to beat.

I really really wanted to like WNO (upgraded computer for it). Alas I got sick of it fast. Too many goofy things like tuck and roll moves where 3 keys needed to be hit. I was expecting puzzle jumps ala Half Life. I'm sure there are good elements to the game and its so cheap its worth a go to see if you like it. I would have been pissed if I paid the $50 they always wanted for this game.

trying to buy and i logged into my greenman account. then it says " PLEASE NOTE: When you next sign in to Green Man Gaming use your Playfire password."

What the heck is that? i dont have a playfire account! It wont let me log in.

OMG headache

so i go to playfire's website and go to "forgot my password". entered my email and got the "no account" thing so I sign up for one. Then it says i have an account to please sign in! WTF!

Next I do the forgot password again and reset it. whew. so i sign in and then it asks "To verify your account, please enter your Green Man Gaming password once." Why? but i do and its says its not correct. with an error "PLEASE NOTE: When you next sign in to Playfire, use your Green Man Gaming password."

So wait, i'm to use the playfire password when loggin into greenman and the greenman password when loggin into playfire? I'm so f-ing confused and none of the accounts will work. I'm about done with this deal.

and both webpages wont let me go anywhere but their password confirmation page. i can't even contact customer service or read FAQ's or browse games.
