I have a year old desk top with DDR3 but the deals are no where near as good. 32gb will cost $30 more - at least. Frown

Good deal for those with DDR4.

If only gaming video cards followed that trend. I'll be spending $600 to $800 once the new gen comes out.

Bought this maybe 2 weeks ago when the shell shocker was $99 per 32gb. Bought two packs for 64gb total. Price dropped to $89, just requested $20 credit ! Awesome !

How times have changed. In 1995 I remember paying $208 for a single 4 MB stick of RAM.

So now we're up to 32GB? Hell, I have 16GB and don't even use half of that gaming and/or using Adobe CS. I don't get it.

Is the DDR4 2400 version worth it compared to this one?

You can overclock this to 2666 without any issues. Won't even need stress testing.

I take it this is not backward compatible for DDR3 motherboards?
