1 per skype account

425credit for 500 minutes is the best deal
math:
425credit=$13.94 /3.28cents per bing credit
60credit = $ 1.86 /3.1cents per bing credit
900credit = $27.69/3.07cents per bing credit
115credit = $2.97 /2.58cents per bing credit

The free Skype Credit Voucher will add exactly US$1.86 worth of Skype Credits to your Skype account.

The '60 minutes' marketing language is indeed based on the US calling rate. This is what the email said:
Quote :
"Up to 60 min based on call rates of 2.3 cents per minute. The actual number of minutes may vary depending on your calling destination and the number of calls you make."
Of course, you might notice that 60*$0.023 is less than $1.86, but hey, it's close enough...

That 60 minutes is based on calls from US to US? Why not just use Google Hangouts for free?

You can not call to phone number with Hangout. I think you can call to other countries rather than US. How do you know only US to US ? I couldn't find it.

Why not redeem it for Xbox live credit? Or Hulu credit? Or use it to entree r one of the many contests they have to win a prize? You can even redeem your points for amazon gift cards. The point is, you are going to do Web searches anyway, so why not get something in return? Google gives you nothing back. And besides, Bing is a great search engine. Especially for pics. For videos, you can see a preview of it by moving your mouse over it, without leaving the search page. You can also gain points using the bing app on your phone or tablet.

Yup. You are definitely right. Google only collect your info for their ads. Nothing else.
Since I got a backup windows and a surface, Cortana is acctualy pretty good in some context. I entered so many sweeptakes in the past 2 year and never won Smilie)
I did exchange couples $5 Amazon gift card already and that's the biggest motivation for me to use Bing. Haha. Lol
