These are pretty handy. They don't work on every engine but they work most of the time. I helped a coworker the other day with the one I have jump a Honda Accord. I decided to get one for my sister to have too.

In for one.

This is really compact and handy to put in the glove box. Maybe make it a part of vehicle tool kit (especially older cars).

Thanks op for sharing this great deal.

400A to be able to jump a 5L is a bit optimistic imo.. I have a 500A jumper that I'd be a bit skeptical of

What a great concept, a battery charger and car jumper. No more having to flag people down to jump your car. In for 1.

I had been contemplating to buy one for my 12 yr old van for some time. This seems to be the lowest price on Amazon for a 400A Jump Starter.

Is there a list somewhere of compatible engines? I am pretty sure this will not work on my Jeep but it may work on my wife's SUV.

Good for other uses too, like on tractors and such.

Probably not, too many cars and trucks out there to list. The manufacture lists capacity of your motor which you can find in your owners manual or the back of your car sometimes. Depends on the jeep but your probably ok unless you have a v8 which might be over the 5L.

Probably not a diesel tractor because they usually have 2 batteries. A lawn tractor sure.

Honda CRV is most certainly a 4 cylinder motor thats about 2.4L in size so well under the 5L capacity the manufacture states.

I have a similar 8000mAH unit from Costco. It was able to jump start a 2005 Honda Pilot and a very old 1989 Mercedes 300E. However, it was unable to start a two seat Porsche Cayman. All of these were 6 cylinder cars. I'm thinking maybe the compression ratio on the Porsche was too high for this to handle.

Most likely the engine capacity is kind of just a rough guideline. It also depends on the load one the electrical system and what state the battery you have in is.
