Thread Details

Verizon subscribers will save $100 on the HTC 10 when they pre-order the manufacturer's latest flagship phone from the nation's largest carrier. Pre-orders begin today and the device will be shipped by May 5th, according to the Verizon website. The $100 discount drops the retail price of the phone down to $548, which can be paid off in 24 monthly installments of $22.83. Without the $100 discount, the payment would be $27 a month.

Note: Verizon will give you up to $300 when you trade in certain handsets. Those phones eligible for for the maximum credit include the Motorola Droid Turbo, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge/edge+, HTC One M9, Apple iPhone 6/6 Plus, LG G4 and LG V10.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

evil because they won't let you scam them with trade-in rebates anymore?

No evil because they can't give the people who built the network, both wireless and wireless, a FAIR share of their enormous profits.

I think the same things could be said of Comcast, AT&T or any other monopolist or semi-monopolist. So what can one do? I tried sticking with Sprint as long as possible (12+ years) but I just couldn't take the lack of value for what I was paying towards the end. I am no longer loyal to ANY one company and just take and milk as much as I can. Playing the evil card doesn't benefit me, but taking advantage of their deals do (e.g., their $100 off Droid Mini upgrade promo ).

Hmm, I'd be happy with a 7.5% wage increase for doing the same work I'm doing now.

if only the HTC 10 had used an AMOLED screen as had been rumored, I'd trade my Droid Turbo in for $300 in a heartbeat!

by all means, the problem is that verizon changes the terms. people unrelated to SD, posted that they were charged the $300 from trade ins even though their instore receipt never indicated any such terms. i saw complains like that in reddit
