Well base on my gaming experience, from a guy who like to benchmark the games rather than play them, I see GTX 960m is a MINIMUM card to play GRAPHIC INTENSE games. I would recommend GTX 970, and if money isn't your problem then GTX 980m of course is the best. Back to this deal, I think it is the slickest deal RIGHT NOW in term of price/performance gaming laptop. Mobile graphic cards are pretty expensive, and lets look at this way, you see many laptops cost thousand of dollars with Intel graphic card in them, can you just imagine how much extra they will charge if you want a better graphic card? Now do the math, the next better graphic card, is GTX 970m, you wont find anywhere that will settle for you under $1000 , this laptop $650, the difference is $350! Yes, it is 350 dollars , US dollars! =)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M ? Is that really enough to call this a "gaming" laptop? Just asking.. Even teh desktop non mobile version of the GTX 960 is not enough to push games to high quality, and this is the mobile version of that card.

It's going to be the same as a GTX 750 ti. It should play most games... At $650 I would consider this an entry level gaming laptop... which is still a gaming laptop.

Pretty good deal! The GTX960m is plenty good for a Laptop. I have one on my Dell 7559 and it functions really well even with demanding games. Only downside is that it's an older processor. I would spend a little more and go with something with a Skylake processor in the range of the 6700HQ. If you don't care about having the latest and great processor then this is the one for you!

970m is about $1000+, no real exceptions except maybe used and broken.

980m is about $1400+, no exceptions.

960m is the most common card for gaming laptops right now because it is very capable of playing about 95% of the games out there are reasonable FPS and resolution. Plus it can be put in a fairly thin chassis without making the laptop crazy heavy.

How's it for video editing? Is the HDD easily upgradable to SSD?
