Please forgive me if this is a repost. I searched for this, but I couldn't find a thread related to this.
I bought an iPhone 6s gold 64gb from AT&T using the AT&T Access More Card from Citi. Original card offers a statement credit of upto $650 for a phone purchase from AT&T if we spend $2,000 in purchases with your AT&T Access More Card within 3 months of account opening. The $2000 can include the phone price also or you can buy the phone at a later time.

I paid a total of $847.89 including the tax and 1 month service(since we should have 15 days of active AT&T service). After purchasing the device from AT&T, I found out that the same phone is available in boost mobile for $549.00(just the phone price). So I decided to use the price rewind feature of the citi cards, so as per the policy they will refund the difference amount upto $300. I called them and filed the claim for price rewind as the phone price in AT&T is $749. My claim got approved and I got paid $200. Also after I spent $2000 with my credit card, I got my $650.

So my price was $847.89 - 200 - 650 + $95(annual fee for card) = 92.89.

Please remember to send the screen shots of the items which are in stock from boost mobile when you submit the documents for price rewind.

If you want to unlock the phone from AT&T, try to get it before activating the service(before switch on). Once you turn on your phone with an AT&T sim card it will register with AT&T. In these cases you can get it unlocked after 60 days if you are using postpaid service or after 6 months if you have GoPhone service.

Edit(05-02-2016): The card offer is back again now.

Edit(05-07-2016) : The price on boost mobile increase $100. So the final price will be $192.89

I recall a similar post shared a couple of months back.
People were accusing that guy of scamming, way too much effort in replicating and hard credit hit. Lets see what SDers have to say about it now that iPhone 7 is further close by ...

Oops, even the link from AT&T site is throwing the same error. It says the offer may have expired. not sure if it is a downtime or the card offer expired.

I can't find a link, even via Google, that will allow me to apply for the card. Every page is 404ed. That's too bad since even $650 off a new phone (without the hassle of doing the Boost price match) is nothing to sneeze at.

It still work! I just used the link to apply and got approve right away with a temporary card number for immediate use. I was giving the link to go on AT&T website to purchase the phone and it still has the same promo: must spend $2,000+ within 3 months and get credit up to $650 on a new phone purchase.

OP since you got the refund of $200 as per price rewind policy, did they credit only 550$ instead of $650?, as the phone now costs only $550 after your got the refund.

Trying to replicate your help is highly appreciated

Are the phones locked to att?

I'd like to get an iphone 7. Would it be a good idea to get this card now, spend 2k, and then wait a few months to buy the iphone 7? Rather than wait until sept to get the card?

The problem is rebate is getting processed in 2-3 billing cycle which easily cross the 60 days price rewind policy
