It seems like a good basic color printer with inexpensive toner refills. Surprised this isn't getting more attention.

Virtually all of the non-inkjet color printers in this price rage are LED, but thanks for chiming in Newby.

just pointing out the term laser is inaccurate, i know the technical details of how each works, industry and consumer apathy allow the term laser to still be used.. just like calling imitation bacon bacon..

that's an odd comparison, but I agree it's a difference worth noting even if it's just for the information. Really love this printer btw. No AirPlay or duplex but the color prints are fantastic.

I've got this printer and am happy with it. It's not my primary printer (that's a cheap ancient Brother HL-2040 laser) but the C1760nw works well as a supplement; primarily for color pictures and my kid's school projects requiring color.

The big thing (I think) to understand about this printer is that it's not a "Google Cloud Print Ready [google.com]" device. This is to say you can't just turn it on, configure it to your WiFi, and off you go. This printer has to be associated with a computer on your network, and that computer has to be on when you print to the printer. For people who always leave their main computer on, this shouldn't be a problem. However. if you're not such a person, and you don't intend to hook this printer up with a cable, you may not get what you expect.

Staples has it for the same price. http://www.staples.com/Dell-C1760...uct_122141

Quill also offers a $20 off $100 coupon code if you sign up for their emails. Add a $21 filler and get that for (almost) free.

Same price on staples, but with 20 off 100 coupon, this deal is better.
