I completely disagree. The Fire 7 I have is excellent for the price -- better than any budget tablet I have tried. I added the Google Play store to mine and could not be more pleased for the price paid.

I download Amazon Prime Video shows onto this tablet for entertainment on flights.

There are a few ways; you can get it done in 10 minutes. Having the Google Play store will empower you to add even more apps, so I highly recommend doing this.

Here is a Youtube video explaining an easy way:

And another, longer way:

I disagree. Based on the price of the non HD fire, it's a steal for the hardware your getting.

I love the Fire HD tablets, but that Fire 2015 (non-HD) is a total piece of crap. Amazon should be ashamed for releasing such a horrid piece of hardware.

Not the best price ever but looks like new ones have dropped by $10 for who knows how long.

I've been wanting a fire tv for a while. Does it get much lower than this?

I agree with your disagreeing. I have a Fire HDX and a one of these cheapy Fires. I don't feel like the Fire HDX is that much better and there's a few things I prefer about the build quality of the cheapy Fire. One big plus of the cheapy Fire is the microSD card slot.

Fire 7" 8Gb $39.99 still $20 overpriced. It was $20 before.

The Bluetooth lags in response sporadically and destroys any attempt to game on it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or there's a solution.

The lowest according to camel was 35 new and 30 used. There was also that BF 6pack that came out to 42 I think.

Not sure if the Sling TV coupon would stack with the sale price for the fire TV. If so, crazy good deal.
