Current prices for the bundle and standalone unit are $99.99 and $79.99 respectively.

Bundle:
http://www.target.com/p/playstati...A-16564950

Standalone:
http://www.target.com/p/playstati...A-16564952

DPCI's:

Bundle - 207-19-0401
Standalone - 207-19-0400

You can use Brickseek to double check stock levels at your local store before going in to try to buy one with the Cartwheel coupon.

Also, you can try(and possibly fail) to somehow have them price match Walmart's current prices on the Playstation TV's($29.96 for the bundle, $19.96 for standalone) before applying the Cartwheel coupon. But that's a HUGE YMMV since they'd have to call Walmart and verify the price over the phone due to them being out of stock online.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

AFAIK, Target only PM via physical ads or looking up on their tablet. They don't call solicit competitor's price to PM.

I used the codes last week and they still worked. However, they were listed as expired.

Has there been any improvement with this device? Everything I had read previously said it was a turd, and some games were blocked, and was lacking Netflix, YouTube, etc...

I purchased one and yes the codes are expired... however I contacted psn/Sony customer service and they reactivated them for me. I had to email them copies of the download vouchers as well as the store receipt showing the purchase date.

Actually Sony reactivated them at least a few weeks ago after many people called in complaining(after getting them at Walmart for $30 apiece) about them having expired even though there's no expiration date listed on the outside of the packaging for the bundles.

FYI: There's still some WM stores with the bundles in stock for $30 too(item number is 39362121 and you can use Brickseek to check for stock).

You can do a hack on these devices now to unlock the games that are blocked. However, in some cases there is a good reason why they are(requiring the touch pad from a regular Vita handheld for certain parts of the game).

I don't know what kind of apps doing the whitelist hack unlocks as I've never used mine for more than the handful of compatible games I own for it(FEZ, Minecraft, etc).

If you don't own a Vita and want to play some of the games for a much lower price than the $199 for a new Vita system. As for me I bought the bundles mainly for playing Minecraft and my other compatible games and for the Dual Shock 3's that're packed into each one since they're still $55 at most retail chains.

I'm really tempted, seeing as how I sold my vita but the dumbass memory cards are still such a piece of shit to buy at almost any price.

Key word being *some* of the games. If only they can do 100% of ps vita games then i would bite. I really wanted it too. Ill have to look into the hack. I recall even sony admitted they were unclear about ps tv's direction. Software is everything. But it can stream ps4 methink.

PS tv is mainly a PS4 streamer (be sure to used wired ethernet) and PSX and PSP emulator that happens to play some vita games.

The innards are about as fast as an Ipad 3 but for some reason Sony didn't even bring PS Vue to the system. TBH, Sony software development really sucks. Given the success of devices like Amazon TV, they should've done a better job making a roku-like device. Just make it fast enough to support most formats and then have it be able to stream PS4 games. Would've been a smash success, but instead it just crashed like the normal vita.
