UPDATE 2: The base T6i + 18-55mm STM lens kit is down to $529.99, which is the lowest price yet. Although the 75-300mm bundle is back down to $589.98, the better 55-250mm STM lens bundle is still the better value of the two. The informed buyer will chose between the latter and the $529.99 base kit.

Would this be better, or a mirrorless camera in the same price range (for video)?

G7 for $500 (B&H) is significantly better for video

I think $600 minus $100 BH gift card. You can use that to buy some batteries, fast as card for 4K (Lexar 1000 is good), tripod, etc.

Or if you can, I'd go straight to the a6300, but that'll cost you $1150 w/ the kit lens

Oh ya I see the gift card. On top of that, they are extending the warranty from 1 year to 3 years via mail in rebate.
I've seen the g7 with the audio technica AT8024. Is it worth it to wait for another deal like that one?

Na, that doesn't come with the $100 gift card and the microphone isn't great. Just go with the video mic pro or something else like it

Do you think I should just go with the g7 now? Also, would you get it over a camcorder like the ax33?
And does the g7 work with stabilizers?

Hmm, I'm not that well versed in camcorders. Main thing is if you want to use the camera for stills at all and if you're looking to get into purchasing lenses. If you just want something for 4K video, don't care about or don't foresee having the budget for exchanging lenses, and don't care about taking stills, then the camcorder could be the way to go. Not sure though, someone else could chime in here

Thanks, just brought the Canon EOS Rebel T6s EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Kit. I wanted a 18-135mm lens kit and this is cheaper and a free upgrade to the T6s model for for the price.

Edit: I just cancel it due to the price after taxes($870.99) vs $899.99 brand new from a camera store on ebay.
