I am helping a friend and also looking for myself a car rental. previously there was a thread with old codes. I know they are old, but few years ago I was able to work the numbers with some the old ones, and got a great deal.

I mainly looking for avid and budget. especially after every time I worked on a deal they gave me the best deal.

if you have any awds, coupons, or bcds please post. thanks in advance!!!

I've always had good luck with Costco travel codes (see link below). I've never been asked to show my card (it's now expired) and I always use their Fast Break (free) service so I avoid all the lines. Best prices around IMO. Good luck!

You should check out zalyn.com [zalyn.com] for car rental coupons & discount codes. It has coupons that rental car companies publish on their website, coupons from AAA, AARP, BJs, Costco, USAA and a number of frequent flyer programs. You can also add your own codes to your profile (I added a bunch of codes I found on Flyertalk).

What I like about Zalyn is that it figures out which coupons apply to my rental cars. I simply setup my profile by telling Zalyn about my memberships. After this, whenever I search for a rental car, it shows me a list of available rental cars and under each vehicle it shows me a list of coupons that apply to that rental car. I simply pick the coupon I want to use and it sends my rental info and coupon to Priceline, where I see if the coupon worked or not. If the coupon works, I see the discounted rate and am able to make a "pay later" and cancel-able booking. Another feature I like is that it helps you stack coupons by combining two coupons.

I think it certainly beats my labor intensive process of copy-pasting coupon codes and going through the reservation process over and over again to see which code I should be using. I would spend hours doing this in the past, now I'm done in a few minutes.

You can usually find codes here http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/re...ssion-745/ or here http://www.mousesavers.com/transp...discounts/ (Some of the codes work in other areas besides Disney.)
