Update: Sold out at Jet.com, but still in stock at Amazon [amazon.com] for $241.99, which is the second lowest price for it ever on Cx3. Comes with 5 year warranty from Citizen.

-------------------------------

This is a great watch.

Link [jet.com]

Most Citizen atomic clock watches have extremely busy faces. Most are chronographs or flight watches with features that are, quite honestly, useless for most of their buyers. How often do you need to do slide-rule fuel calculations on your watch? How often do you find yourself really using the stopwatch and timer features of your chronograph? This is their only atomic watch that has a clean, uncluttered face. Its looks are fairly simple, but its technology is advanced.

A few of this watch's stellar features:
  • Perpetual Calendar
  • Atomic Clock Synchronization
  • Sapphire Crystal
  • Eco-Drive Solar Charging

This is a watch that syncs itself every night to an atomic clock, that automatically keeps its calendar perfectly set, that charges itself and will never need to have its battery replaced. In my eyes, it's the perfect timepiece.

Citizen Eco-Drive Men's CB0020-50E World Perpetual A-T Stainless Steel Watch is available from Jet.com for under $210 shipped.

The watch is listed for $241.99
Use first time buyer code 15NOW for $30 off and waive free return for another $2.79 off.

After the discounts, it should run you $209.20 shipped.

Great reviews at Amazon [amazon.com], where it's currently selling for $241... still not a bad deal at that price.

Regarding Warranty
Jet.com is NOT an authorized reseller, so Citizen will not honor the warranty on the watch if you purchase it from them.

Amazon [amazon.com] IS an authorized reseller, so they WILL honor the warranty. If that's important to you, pay the extra $30 and buy it from them.
I've never used a watch warranty, so it's not much of a motivating factor for me, but to each his own.

The CB0020-50E is a "great watch" indeed. I have several of the Citizen A-T radio controlled watches and this particular model is perhaps my favorite...I qualify the "perhaps" because I like all of them but the CB0020-50E is the one that I wear and use the most. Other models may have more complications/features but this one provides those that are really important. Combine that with a highly readable dial and the watch just works. A couple of features you missed that set it apart from most watches:
  • 200M water resistance (though not suitable for scuba)
  • Syncs with 5 radio transmissions for sync just about anywhere in the northern hemisphere
  • Excellent stainless bracelet with solid end pieces and multiple size links for perfect fit. This is a very comfortable bracelet to wear.
  • Nemoto/Superluminova - high quality lume and lots of it on the hand set and dial face for excellent night performance. Usable the entire night.

If I could only own one Citizen A-T watch, this might be it. It is just about perfect. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

I sold the Citizens that I had because they were too cluttered. This is one of the cleaner looking models, but still a bit busy for my tastes.

I recently bought a radio controlled citizen and love it. Warning, it may ruin you for other watches.

Nice watch, but what's with the cities around the face?

The only shortcoming I see is the no day indicator. That is a useful feature that most people could use. Good deal nevertheless.

That is for adjusting time zone... choose the city and it will automatically adjust the time...

It's how you tell the watch which city you're in so that it sets the time correctly once it connects to the atomic clock. Then you never have to set the watch again. If you travel just set it to your destination city and it adjusts itself immediately.

It works with these features:

Citizen A.T. world perpetual calendar Atomic watch.
Atomic timekeeping with radio-controlled accuracy

Beautiful watch! I wear it all the time. Would love the date to be a bit larger. The atomic time updating works great (IL) and the perpetual calendar is great. I bought it on a slickdeal a year or so back for about the same price and very happy with it.

Be aware that the bezel does not move. To change city you enter a mode by doing something with the pin and then you turn the pin to select the city (the hand moves from city to city until you reach the one you need), then when you exit the mode the watch sets itself to the right time.

if I didn't just buy Citizen watch from Macy's getting the Slick deal rebate. I would have jumped on this.

I own this watch and love it (paid Amazon $248 for it too).

It met the four criteria I had for a watch:
1) Looked great
2) Accurate
3) Water resistant in a pool
4) No need to replace battery

Another cool feature is that it'll sync to other atomic clocks around the world if you set it to a city that can reach one. I was in France/Switz/Germany last summer and it synced to the atomic clock signals out there.

This is an awesome watch.

Been wearing this for 4 years now.
No complaint. Best simple worry-free watch ever.
Never misses even one second.

Thanks for all the positive reviews. I had the Titanium Eco drive before, nice practical and beautiful watch but dial was a bit too busy. This one actually looks perfect and sort of reminds me of the Omega Moonwatch.
