I really enjoyed this game, but when there were many objects/explosions on the screen, the frame rate did drop and staying alive at times did become more difficult. This is on the Xbox One edition.

Metacritic is 71 for Xbox One and 74 for PS4, I might be off a couple of points. At this price, I think it's fair.

I have it for the Xbox one and it apparently has a save issue. There is no way to just save your progress. It randomly saves when it chooses to without notification. If you exit the game, it brings you back to a point which is hours of gameplay behind. It is a great and addictive game but save issue kills it

Hoping they have since patched most of the outstanding issues, considering it came out in December. Just Cause 2 was RIDICULOUSLY fun, and this looked amazing up till the day before launch.

If you liked Just Cause 2, you should enjoy this game...HOWEVER, pick up the land, sea, air DLC (it was $15 when the DLC was released). The DLC adds a rocket pack that can be used with the wingsuit. It absolutely changes the fun factor of the game by 3 fold. When this game first came out, I preferred JC2 to this, but after the DLC was released, I play this game all the time, even though I finished it long ago. Is it a perfect game now? Hell no. But it's a hell of a lot of fun with the DLC.

It does have save issues. Currently I'm having trouble getting the DLC to be recognized. Up until 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was having trouble having any of the "challenges" being saved. That seems to have resolved itself, but starting a game is a bit difficult currently.

There were frame rate issues for me on the XB1 also. The "world" is gorgeous though. While not as fun to explore as JC2, it is definitely better looking.

Oh and if you (meaning anyone here) haven't played Just Cause 2, play that...its an amazing game.

This game is amazing. I do not own it but my friend owns it. We have spent countless hours playing this game. Taking over all bases takes many months and completing the campaign takes at least 12 hours. This game is AMAZING for messing around. We have done many fun things like putting a plane inside of a cargo plane. We then took off in the cargo plane. Then we went into the smaller plane then flew out of the cargo plane. We also attached 3 planes to each other and took off safetly. You can only have 1 save file! There are also many glitches that you can use to your advantage. Sometimes it lags but it autosaves. Also, the loading screens come up constantly(But they are only 15-20 seconds) For $35 bucks, this game is well worth your money. Out of 10, I would give this game a solid 8.5 or 9. I have the game on Xbox 1.

For me there is no save issue. It should automatically save during your loading screen.

This game is awesome, my 60 yr old dad doesn't like video games at all and he was hooked after watching me play for a few mins. I let him take over and he played a good 12 hours that weekend! i do have frame rate issues, it seems to struggle after a few hours of gameplay (ps4) I typically restart my ps4 and i'm good for a few more hours.

Another note, if you have PS Vita or Vita TV and PS4, this game works great on remote play. the controls on the vita work great and it just made my old vita worth playing again! Wanted to give some credit to the old lil thing because for remote play, it really is awesome. I'm streaming Just cause 3 on my vita and i'm 30 miles from my house. i'm using my phone as a hotspot and the lag is hardly noticible!

i'm gonna have to get land sea air, it sounds like must have content. I personally bought this game used locally for 20$ so it's tough to think i'll pay 75% of that on DLC...
