Few weeks ago they had ir for similar price after a rebate. So this is pretty good. Not a great deal but the cheapest 960GB drive.

Newegg has the same price after $10 rebate. But the shipping is probably faster.

great price...

I have the 480 GB version which I got from Newegg few months ago for 109, and its working great so far with no issues.

Newegg is selling it for 189.99 with MIR.
eBay (through Newegg eBay store) is selling it for 187.99 without rebate.

You will get even better if you use refund sites...

I will get from eBay if I am looking for an SSD. It's easier and cheaper laugh out loudlaugh out loud

This is a good deal. I installed a few games on a 500gb ssd. Now I only have 150gb space left. That's like the minimum these days if ur a gamer

Was just about to pick this up with the 8% EB but Adata's website shows this as having less than half the write IOPS as the 480GB model. Ouch. Wonder if that's an error.

That's no error Frown

The reviews on Amazon are highly skewed as there are only 2 reviews for the 960GB model.

Unless you really need a drive right now, there are better 1TB SSDs in the $200 price range that offer better performance, such as the Mushkin Reactor 1TB SSD [newegg.com] which is around $220 and has MCL memory as opposed to TLC memory (lower endurance).

Garbage TLC memory and garbage memory controller.

This is probably one of the worst and most unreliable SSDs on the market today.

how is this compared to samsung 850 evo

It pales in comparison to a evo... Oddly this is like the 3rd posting I've seen of this thing.

Not at all. I have a 250 GB crucial ssd with a 1 tb mechanical in my gaming machine.

I only install the games I'm actually playing (which is at most, two) so I never have space issues.

If you install every game in your steam library, yeah, you're gonna want more space, but then you're just installing games to install them.
