This is typical of international models outside their intended region w/ Samsung. Most folks when buying Int'l models go w/ alternatives like Squaretrade warranties, etc.

No warranty at all on either version?? EEK!

WARRANTY:

These Samsung Galaxy S6 Phones do not have any service carrier logos and are therefore considered international versions for which Samsung’s factory does not honor warranty.

Maybe I'm just blind, but can't find this info. Is the Open Box Refurbished actually just open box customer return, or is it truly a refurbished?

he's probably talking about one of the carrier bogo rebates but other than the T-Mobile one that lasted a week, require you to keep a line for 6+months Nd statement credits

S6 is pretty fast and the camera is very good, but reviewing photos was still kind of sluggish. This was the one thing that made me consider iPhones but now with S7 it's all good.
Also, the battery on S6 is too small so you really have to charge several times a day (partial charges) and make use of opportunistic charging. The QuickCharge 2.0 definitely helps to keep up.

It might be on a device payment plan, which you have to use their service for at least couple months until you get the rebate. Then pay off the phone.

I got my Verizon S7 Edge from Staples when they did the $400 rebate, with a device payment plan. I can leave Verizon as soon as I get my rebate..
