Treat yourself this Mother’s Day to a $5 credit with download of select games

Limited Time Offer: May 2, 2016 - May 8, 2016

In honor of Mother’s Day, we’ve selected Amazon Underground games, such as Simple Sudoku or Fruit Ninja Academy: Math Master, that appeal to both mom and kids for a little distraction or “me time”.

If you’ve never downloaded an app or game from Amazon Appstore, you can receive a $5 Amazon credit towards physical goods sold by Amazon.com when you download a qualifying game from an Android device. With your newly downloaded game, pass time on the daily commute or in the waiting room, and then use the Amazon credit to reward yourself with a favorite item, like a book, bottle of wine, or scented candle.

If you haven't installed the Amazon Underground app, you will need to do so in order to download your selected game. Simply click on any of the qualifying games below on your Android phone and follow the instructions to get started.

5"]Only first time downloads via the Amazon Underground App for Android qualify. Limit 1 credit per customer[/SIZE].
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I would only do this on a brand new device on which nothing is loaded. The Underground app collects EVERYTHING about you. It's not worth doing on your usual device. It's a terrible app.

This is a good deal ... but the Underground app is a disaster. Everything you do will end up amazon pushing you toward their website. I can't even search my own apps any more without those damn irrelevant hits in the physical goods store.

RIP good old appstore and free app of the day program ...

Yup, but since I have a Kindle Fire that I won from a drawing, they already have the info of what happens on there so I just load this stuff on it.

Amazon Underground is a super-cookie? shake head

Now you can understand why Apple doesn't allow third party app stores on iOS.

Is the Amazon Underground app the same thing as "Amazon App"? Thats what I have installed on mine and I think its required if I want to use hearthstone. When I check the permissions on it (with marshmallow) it says that I haven't given it any permissions.

True, they're sharing that information with China? Is that correct?
