So, this LG G Pad is just tablet, right? With all of the plans, it makes it sound like a cell phone.

I'm basically looking for a tablet to replace my ASUS ME170CX 7in one, which I had to send in 3 times because the battery wouldn't charge. I've been having trouble deciding. I was first looking at that Hisense Sero 8, but got discouraged because of lack of customer service and the bad reviews.

Then came Simbans Valumax tablet, but the 90 day warranty on the battery turned me away.

So, I figured that maybe I should get a Samsung Galaxy Tab or LG G Pad since they are of high quality. However, since I have a limited budget ~$60. I thought that they'd have to be refurbished.

this is the tablet. I have it, except mine is with Verizon. It is a great tablet. It at times does lag, but so does everything. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I have opened the link and saw the terms.

I meant that I was wondering what is the "free" plan from R+ or FP.

I know that they dont like giving tablets free fancy plans like 2k/2k/2Gb

Do you play any games on it? When I tried playing Game of War on my Asus tablet, only one word comes to mind, "sluggish".

Last time, 2 SD deals ago, I bought Samsung Tab from a4c, came from sprint contract.
i spent 3 days trying to unlock it, numbers game lol I called and spoke with like 20 CS reps
all said that on sprint devices, unless you have email and pin code of the prior owners, you cannot unlock the device, they explain that they do not have access to the account information, thus they cannot see if there is any outstanding debt and thus they cannot unlock it. I had to return it to a4c.
not sure if it is legal, but like.. repair imei and write some smartphone's imei but in fact use tablet lol

How exactly does one take advantage of talk minutes or text on a Freedompop tablet?

It is VOIP, so it is just through the FP app and works the same on a tablet or a smartphone.
