TU and in for 1. Been waiting for this again as contrast is better than JU7100 and a wider color gamut. Great since I mainly watch movies with it.

FYI: The 55" is edge-lit, and also the 3D is evidently not the best - lots of cross-talk, etc...

No, i haven't even tried it. I ended up buying a 65" later on as this was being shipped to me. And didn't return because of high shipping cost.

Is the 65" have less issues, i.e. is better?

The last firmware update 'fixed' the 3D issues on the 65" only (for some odd reason). I have the 65" and I really like it - although, I haven't tried 3D yet - it's not even a priority to me, I just got a good deal a few months ago.

All of these flat-panel sets, regardless of the manufacturer are a crap-shoot as to if you get a good one or not. I'd recommend buying from someone with a great return policy - in case you need to return until you get a good one.

I have this. Beware of horrible active 3D. Otherwise, great 4K imagery.

Had I known this before, I would have paid the extra hundreds for a Sammy JS8500....actually, I probably would have gone with the LG for passive 3D. I never knew how distracting the flickering really would be. So, you should really demo an active 3D TV before switching from passive or nothing.

What I like about this TV is it's one of a small subset of TVs that pass 5.1 audio via optical and ARC regardless of the input. Great for sound bars if you want true surround. Most TVs do not do that.

I got in on this deal last time around. Gorgeous tv, loved it. But sadly I had to return it because it wouldn't display any video lol. No picture when viewing blu-rays, cable, media player etc. Only thing that worked was the internal 'graphics' and menu's etc. Before I returned it I tried giving it a gentle bash on the back of the tv and surprisingly that worked and produced a picture.. but didn't last more than a minute or two. I then googled the issue and found a lot of people complaining that the picture goes on and off, especially when switching input's.
