I'm looking at replacing my doors and drawer fronts on my kitchen cabinets...not the whole cabinet. Is this something your typical handy person can do? Does anyone have an online company that they recommend? Thanks for any advice!

i've read lots of good reviews of this product. not quite there with my cabinets yet, but for 70$ its worth a shot.

I was thinking about it, but decided to just stain my existing kitchen cabinets altogether. However assuming all measurements are correct and doing straight refacing it shouldn't be that difficult. Do your homework first and shop around local vs online. Sometimes it can be better to just replace the cabinets altogether. You could also do a practice run with a smaller bathroom in your home. I'm considering on refacing the doors/drawers when we tackle the master bath, but my vision probably requires a full gut. Too bad my wife won't let me spend the money for a custom master bath; heck I dont' even want to overspend on a master bath remodel. Might have to settle for an updated cookie cutter look...

the nuvo paint from homedepot gives it that hard covered look. you lose all your wood grain in the process. take a look at the reviews and the picture of the finished project.

Whatever you buy - make sure that you get quality hinges, so they don't keep falling off!
