Costco.com [costco.com] has the Xbox One Elite Wireless Controler [xbox.com] for $134.99 ($124.99 price + $10.00 tax in California) using Standard Ground shipping (which was free). Normally, this controller goes for $149.99 plus tax.

This is an awesome price, but this controller is not for most people... I am most people

I'm sure there's close to zero risk buying this given Costcos return policy

For me, the only advantage of this controller are the paddles on the bottom, I use 2 of them only in Halo, I don't see a benefit using all 4, some people will

Build quality, feel, accuracy, etc, etc aren't that much better IMO to justify the high price

Again, this is 100% my own view... but I also feel many others share this view that's why there are so many open box deals for it

TU anyway

Thanks OP, also don't forget Chase Freedom has 5% cash back! (124.99 price + 7.50 tax in Michigan = 132.49 - 5%(6.62) = $125.87)

I was going to buy this. But there are rumors of a new controller. Add to that rumors of a new system. There should be news on this within the next few weeks from what I've read.

Either way, I'll wait before buying. This is a solid controller though. Keep Xbox One deals coming!!!

Sold my elite to buy the new whatever. Whether it be a slim or new elite regardless excited. I'm hoping it could be a new upgraded xbox but who knows. I made sure to keep my lunar white so regardless I'll still be happy. But, the grip on forza and lunar white controllers should be made standard. The player 2 should be able to enjoy luxury.

If it's a new system it better be awesome. I'm about to tap out on consoles if they don't give us something better than what they did with the current gen. I kick myself for buying this weak Xbox One. The 360 and OG Xbox were at least competitive with PC when released.

Idk if I will help but I got it used from GameStop to try it out. Great controller. Nice grips on the side, the ability to change the sticks and D-Pad to your liking. But I couldn't really "try" it cause it was missing the two back paddles which sucked but didn't really bother me for the game I was playing. There's an app on the Xbox to configure the buttons for the back paddles. Great controller but for me I wouldn't go for more than 100$ to buy it.

with the new controller coming out, not sure if it's worth such a premium anymore. definitely better than the stock controller though

The new S controller doesn't have the paddles or the interchangeable parts. The S controller will have bluetooth for easy PC connectivity. So it depends on what you're buying the controller for and what features you want.

Been this price at Costco since pre-order but hasn't been in stock very often. Great deal when you consider the Costco return policy.
