Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share.
This combo is also Premier eligible.

You beat me by 11 minutes, lol. Any information about the quality of these batteries? Is this a good deal?

$1.75 per cell with no rebates for rebadged eneloops isn't bad. They were $1.25 ($15 for 12 after a rebate) last month.

Actually these are the real Eneloops as the eneloops are now made in china....

So they are better than eneloop

these are the "original" eneloop.

Sanyo (the original eneloop brand) was acquired by Panasonic.

however, the acquisition was stalled due to the size of market share (not approved by the anti- trust bodies) after the take over.

The assests of the original Eneloop production plant was sold to another brand FDK (a Fujitsu subsidiary). All are MIJ. (Made in Japan)

Panasonic open new production plants for their cells. (as far as I know, the have two production plants in china now. And some in Japan).

The performance of those Panasonic and Fujitsu cells are very close.

If you got eneloops that were made in China, then they were not officially imported. The Chinese made eneloops are intended only for certain Asian and the Australian markets. Made in Japan eneloops are for the rest of the world, including China. There are shady sellers, flogging Chinese made eneloops, at made in Japan eneloop prices, on unknowing buyers.
Let the buyer beware. If in doubt about the origin, ask. If the package states: "Holds 70% Charge up to 10 years", they are Japanese made. If the statement is under 70%, then they are Chinese made.
ALL Fujitsu NiMH batteries are Made in Japan.

Yes they do.
Otherwise, you can buy a smart charger that can have multiple functions: Charge, discharge, refresh etc.
