I would list Factory Reconditioned in the title... also note, this is a TN panel according to http://4k.com/monitor/a-review-of...t-monitor/

This is very good 4k panel at a very attractive price. It supports DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0, 4k at 60hz. I prefer TN over other type.

this monitor is a great monitor.. only 3 things i don't like about it:
1. No Vesa mounting holes
2. the light flashes when it's 'sleeping', and turning it off isn't a simple button like most monitors
3. the tilt angle can't be changed and you need to be 'level' with the monitor to get a good view (i read this is where the TN panel matters?)

if none of those are issues for you, then this monitor is really a great monitor.

I believe earlier models did not have VESA holes but there was a VESA adaptor. I found an article that says this monitor has built-in VESA mounts and I think I can seem them in the pictures. They are located unusually high. If you look at the pictures, you'll see the holes around the logo nearly at the top of the monitor.

Forgot the non name brand monitor but it was using one of the best panels for cheaper and it was new, so I would pass.

Found it,

Price is good but TN really sucks when you go 28" especially with 4K and you keep it closer to your eyes. This is from my experience with a Acer 4K 28".

I have this monitor, Honestly, I got it for 120 bucks with taxes, open box, from a local store.
The clarity is great on this monitor, great for racing games or starcraft, but I didn't like its performance on fps games, I have 3 desktops, I use this monitor for starcraft and racing games desktop, I use my trusty 1440p monitors for shooter games,
one post mentioned about the sleeping mode of this monitor, it may not wake up sometime and you have to turn and off its power to come back up,
you can really tell the difference of pics and videos on 4k when using this monitor compared to a 1440p monitor

you need a displayport from your source to get 4k 60z, an hdmi connection can get 4k but only at 30hz, dual hdmi can give you dual display mode, or dp port plus hdmi can also give you dual display mode
maybe my eyes are getting blurred already but on fps games, I don't see too drastic difference in pic quality from 1440p to 4k, but when it comes to pics and vids shot at 4k, this is when this monitor shines,
If I was to choose right now, I would rather get the acer or asus 1440p gaming monitors when they are on sale

Serious question: are there any 4k IPS monitors for a price anywhere close to this?
