Does this include ferry service to Isla Nublar? If not, pass.

Not trying to thread crap or anything, just informing those who are possible going to Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is on Level 2 alert for the Zika Virus, so please be careful out there!

Basically every country south of the US is on the CDC level 2 for Zika. However Costa Rica is a rainforest in many areas so mosquitos are abundant.

The price of the flight is excellent. But you failed to mention which NYC airport.

Thx. Does Zika really only pose a threat to men/women looking to have or currently carrying children? Hoping the forum medic can provide some clarity.

That's probably 4th behind Zika, very high crime against tourists, and kidnappings. But it's most likely ahead of great numbers of amoeba, frequent demonstrations, Malaria and HIV.

As far as we know... no. Currently, we know that in adults the most common symptoms of Zika are fever, rash, joint pain, and conjunctivitis (red eyes). The illness is usually mild with symptoms lasting for several days to a week after being bitten by an infected mosquito. People usually don't get sick enough to go to the hospital, and they very rarely die of Zika.

However, contracting the virus during pregnancy has been linked to microcephaly and other brain defects.
