Inventory link doesn't work for me. Item # should be 218970?

While you are there check the Safes, saw a ~$250 Sentry Safe marked down to $60 at the local OD store.

Would have grabbed it myself but hauling that thing home while i was walking around town would have been damn near impossible laugh out loud

Got item # for safe? But you're right, that 21lb coffee machine was heavy enough for carrying outta there today Smilie

BTW, don't forget to check inventory on this +24 YMMV deal on the Logitech TK820 wireless keyboard deal today for $10 if you shop there (90% off). I got lucky and was able to score both. Item # 825716

And maybe the recent $99 (orig $500) office chair deal, item # 493984.

Is this worth it? Would it be better to get a regular coffee machine?

Absolutely worth it if you got the space for such a large coffee brewer (and don't mind the avg $.40 per cup cost. They sell used for $170 on Amazon [amazon.com].

We have this model at work. It definitely makes a stronger cup as compared to k-cup mini I have at home. The best part is the slide show of life cycle of coffee beans on small color lcd screen while it is brewing.

I have one (or one similar...an office version), also got it on clearance a while back. It's good if you work from home and use it a lot (or as it says, for your office). But if you're only making a cup when you wake up in the morning then no. I never use mine...I prefer using a French press.

I'm too cheap to buy kcups. If I'm going to use my own grounds in a refillable kcup I might as well use a french press or coffee pot. I'm too cheap to have the electricity on 24/7 for this thing. If I don't have it on 24/7 then the water isn't constantly hot and it takes time to heat up. It does have a timer where you can have it turn on at a certain time and have the water heated up, and then turn off when it's not used for some time. But I don't always wake up at the same time everyday.

I have a electric kettle that heats up water faster than this. If I don't constantly use it then I'm paranoid the water reservior has bacteria in it or the water gets stale.

So, it sits on my kitchen counter taking up space while I just use my small french press which makes delicious coffee.

Just my experience.

My smaller personal version heats water up in less than a minute. That's pretty fast.

I'm interested in the safe... several stores near me have them but all show $250 online. Are clearance items by store or regional or national?

I think national, that's why these YMMV deals fly. Since usually low stock I just give them a call, ask them to hold and do price check before I head out.
