Hi ,
I was Instore looking for the various ridiculously priced clearance items in store. I had gone to the store looking for a $49 laptop but ended up buying this camera which was insanely priced. Overall I bought a Brand New D3000 DSLR kit with
18-55 mm Zoom -Nikkor Lens
55-200mm Zoom-Nikkor Lens

I know the camera is very old and is not up to match with latest DSLR so please don't compare apples with Oranges. I am just sharing this deal for people looking for basic starter DSLR and brand new lens pays for itself at this price. Literally you are getting DSLR body or lens free if u think either way

Here are more details . I don't have access to computer so can't upload receipt over mobile app

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Nikon-1...s/21556986

Item # 21556986

Upc Code : 1820813173

Use Walmart App to check Instore availability or Brickseek

All the best hunting and please don't thumps down if you did not find it near you. As I said all these clearance are very YMMV

Great deal OP! I can't find it available anywhere in Northern California via Brickseek however. Cheers to those that can get it. I'd want it just for the extra lens.

Flat out unavailable in my area. Assuming that's just all of Maryland for anyone hoping to snag this in the area.

OP curious about what the item number is on that 49$ laptop?

2 weeks ago i went to walmart to see if they had this gaming mouse that was on clearance. didn't end up finding it but they had tons of their electronics on clearance. might be worth just going down to see what they have.

Walmart is punking us. They have these deals all over the US one store here, one store there and they feed badd data to brickseek. We go to Walmart hoping to find these deals and walk out with a 50 pack of Charmin TP just due to the fact that we were there. New lost leader format.

I can't believe some of the super old cameras some of these Walmarts have in stock. I was able to get the D3300 for $199 deal last week plus the 55-200mm lens for $59. I've still been looking around to see if I can find any of the Canon deals because my parents' camera is well over 10 years old. Yesterday I saw a Nikon D3100 kit, which is a few years old, but another one actually still had a Canon T1s on display with the box under the counter.

I have this camera body and regret the purchase constantly. Even though it's cheap, don't bother... the sensor in this body is regularly criticized (including by me) for its noise. Check out dpreview or Ken Rockwell for additional info. Even older cameras (d40) are better buys. The combo of lackluster sensor and low mp make this worse than even a decent smartphone camera. If you put the $$ into fast lenses, you may as well at least get the d3100
