Not seeing this company on LG's list of authorized dealers [lg.com]. That would make me nervous if I were dropping that much money.

Yeah, I can't speak to their association with a disribution channel that may be an authorized retailer, though. Cleveland Plasma, for example, is not listed as an authorized retailer, but their distributors are, and therefore, the warranties are fully valid.

With this particular model, I would not pull the trigger without knowing you have access to LG's warranty service. There's a huge panel lottery with the EF/EG models.

It's a good price and all, but has to be a thumbs down because the retailer isn't an approved one. Which means the warranty could be VOIDED and on a 3000.00 item, that's a big deal.

I bought this for $3,500 from Cleveland Plasma about 3 weeks ago. Good price but I would be worried on warranty with a $3,000 + TV.

We are not authorized LG resellers. We baying the TV from LG distributer. Thank you for shopping with ielectrica.

Since they are getting from a "LG distributor" does that mean the warranty is valid or not? Odd they didn't mention if the distributor was authorized or not...

how was the question framed?! If they did not directly answer to the point, that would be odd. and fishy.

Mother flippers won't budge on a 77" OLED, which is what I'm waiting for.

Until then, my 65" Panasonic VT60 is more than enough given current Cable broadcasts.

They do offer an extended warranty option. Saving $300 could be put to use there.
