I contacted support and 2 hours later they issued a partial refund for the billing period after today (5/6/2016).

We have issued a prorated refund of $ on your account. The refund should show up within 3 business days
It looks like online chat support is back.

imo Harbor Mobile did the best it could. Hats off to HM for sending out the porting information along with the bad news. We just got f***ed by AT&T, shouldn't we leave AT&T (Cricket)?

P.S. This will not affect current T-Mobile lines

For anyone who can't get a sim quick enough or decide on where to port this number out ... I would recommend porting into Google voice for $20. I looked at my old transaction records for my primary cell and it ported into GV within 24 hours. Porting out costs $3. So, total cost of $23 if you really need/want your number.

For porting out, you need to unlock the GV number first (https://www.google.com/voice/unlock)

I don't use an iphone ... so, no need for imessage integration -- I've kept my number on GV for the last 2 years without any issues. With google hangouts updated, they support MMS messages now. So, it's been far more convenient for me to use the browser from my pc while at work for messaging/etc.

If you have a unused T-Mobile SIM, you can port to 4G Antenna Shop [4gantennashop.com] within hours (less than half an hour for me)
