Reposting from previous thread due to confusion:

Dolby Vision is only in the 2016 G/E/C/B models. It is not a firmware updateable technology and must be installed in the TV. The EF9500 do not have this installed.

HDR10 is also not available on this TV because it requires over 90% DCi P3 color gamut and 540 nits brightness for OLED (1000 nits for LCD), which these first gen HDR sets fall short of slightly.

HDR itself, is available on these TVs and has been since a firmware update a few months back.

This TV will never support full HDR10 nor Dolby Vision. If you look at rtings.com, they tested this displays peak brightness at around 350nits and only 86% of the DCi P3 color gamut.

The difference between HDR10 and HDR is that HDR10 is a measured standard now. HDR TVs are now referred to as "HDR-compatible" meaning they will display HDR, and it will look better than non-HDR, but it's not the full range per the new HDR10 standard.

If you're confused - any TV branded as being "Ultra HD Premium" meets or exceeds HDR10 requirements. If you want the full spectrum of 4K UHD HDR quality, look for this seal.

If it does not have the seal, it may be HDR-compatible, but does not qualify for HDR10 (or Dolby Vision).

For 2015, only the Samsung JS9500 and Sony X940C meet the requirements for HDR10.

For 2016, you will have to look for the Ultra HD Premium seal.

Make sure you don't put the name of the dealer in the listing. It's always fun to have to go to ebay to lean the name of the seller. All your listing says is "authored dealer"

hot deal. But I would buy the 1080P one over this one for 700.00 less. 4K at this size isnt really a big deal IMO. And yes I have a 4K TV

Must not have a 4K Ultra HD Premium TV...

This is still at least 4K HDR and looks fantastic.

Would agree with this. Checked out the 55" non 4K OLED at Costco yesterday next to a Samsung KS8000 and even at about 5 feet I could not see the additional resolution on the Sammy.

Nice deal. The price on OLEDs is really coming down.

I'll bite when 65" hits about $1300.

Price coming down means new model availability shortly. Check out the LG website, more models in more price ranges.
