Yes, but try to remember, even though it is difficult- this toy is not for the parents it is for the kid. I feel your pain- we have had one of these from the time my son was 2 through the present (6). Part of their playing is taking things apart, and part of the learning we do with our kids is working with them to put it back together, letting them put it back together in horribly misformed ways, and letting them have fun.

Good deal and good quality, just went to toysrus yesterday and it was $169 at the store. But I decided to get it today. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ€˜πŸ»πŸ€˜πŸ»πŸ€˜πŸ»

Solid set. My kid loves it, it can stand up against the destructive force of a 2yr old. Think I got it cheaper last time it was posted on SD. Brio and Thomas the train work with the set as well. But that has not been tested yet.

The thing I don't like about this set is how easily the tracks come apart. You spend an hour putting it all together, and after 5 mins in the hands of a 2yo it's back in 100 pieces. There's the option of supergluing the track pieces together like I've seen some people do, but then it can't ever be used as a play table.

This is true with any train table set. Just depends on how often you want to put it back together. Using glue ruins the set and takes away from kids wanting to make their own little route.

I built those tracks for my 4yo about 100 times (no joke) and I've got the Thomas tracks and kidkraft tracks .. Doesn't matter he takes them apart without an issue. I'm afraid unless you glue them like u mentioned then there is no other way. As soon as you built it just take a picture lol

Bought this as $130 over 2 xmas's ago. Has held up well and don't regret it. Probably my youngests most expensive toy, but the amount of use it has had is crazy and when other kids are over it keeps them entertained for hours along with the growing Hot Wheels collection.
