Nice deal. You should add HSN to the title, and it's a bundle that includes case + 1 year of tracfone service. GSM phone too, so will get Tracfone service on AT&T network.

Some details from HSN site...

Includes:
Car charger
Case
Premium Smartphone Elite for Android software and services voucher
1200 minutes, 1200 texts and 1200MB of data + 365 days of service (400 minutes, texts and data tripled)

I saw this model phone (although AT&T phone) in-store at Walmart on Clearance this past weekend for $74, although still $99 online. Easily unlocked from AT&T.

Correct. I only added it just in case someone was looking to buy the phone itself, and have it unlocked. Many posts in SD forums on how to easily unlock these AT&T Gophones for free.

It's a good, but not great, smartphone. Usually available with At&t GoPhone (prepaid) at BestBuy and WalMart for $79.99 on very frequent sale. Many users (self included) complain about the call quality on speaker phone when talking to someone..bad. Camera is slow to focus, inconsistent, but in good light does the job..but nowhere near any flagship phone. So is it a decent phone? Sure, has a beautiful screen, very good battery life, but does have a few niggles.

Unlocking this phone? Impossible as Tracfone adds their own overlay to prevent them from being unlocked.

How's the coverage on Tracfone? I have AT&T and coverage is "ok" here in the Rocky Mountains. Looking for cheaper alternatives since I'm out of contract, hardly ever use my cell and my Apple 4S is due to be replaced.

It is a GSM phone so it would be using a AT&T or T-Mobile network. So what ever coverage you get now it would be the same.

It's running on the At&t (GSM) network so you should be ok.

I have only had one dropped call in 11 years with Tracfone... That's always been the generic flip phones though, not sure about these... As far as coverage, it's always on where I'm at, if there is a cell tower, they apparently have a contract with whoever

Despite the fact that att & Tmobile are both GSM, coverage may not be the same. I don't know how Trac fone works. But, if it simply uses only att network then coverage will be the same as what you have now. If it uses only Tmobile or if it uses whichever of the 2 networks is stronger then you may have improved coverage. As on network may have strobger/ better coverage compared to the other.

Tmobile has better coverage for Me compared to AT&T so I picked them as my service provider. You should do the same. Smilie

First I've heard anyone use the word niggles like that. You gave me some chuckles.

This phone is awesome for the deal price from bestbuy/walmart.
The att version, which can be unlocked very easily, has been on sale upto as low as $69.99.
I am using the phone since last 3 months and must say that its a very very good phone, unlocked, for that price.
I have observed a weird issue though, while using a custom launcher (google now or aero):
Everytime you restart your device, the launcher resets and you have customize it again.
The customer support is almost non existent. I am still waiting for the customer support to respond on my issue.

Coming to this deal, I would recommend to wait for this phone to be back on sale @ bestbuy or walmart foe $79.99 or lower.
