tiger rebate card expired.

sd0209 237 30 May 9, 2016 at 07:55 AM
apparently the 30 dollar rebate card i got from a black friday deal at tiger had a slimey 4 month expire date.

they say it was issued on 1/6 but the card expire date printed was 4/16.
today is day like what? 124? 125? so i'm a DAY OR TWO LATE.
i dont see that as valid reason for them to steal my rebate.

dont i deserve a couple days courtesy?
this "Payall" card company are just bilking free rebate money from customers.

rebate house will not help either.

you had 3 whole months to use it, not paypal's fault you can't read the date on a credit card

tigerdirect is slimey as all hell ...

anytime you get credit cards from these rebates places (especially a paypal, ebay, tigerdirect, and even newegg these days) you immediately take that credit card and buy a Giftcard to a reputable place you normally shop at.

Target/ Amazon/ Walmart, etc.

The date of expiration is on the rebate card. Human error. I left one in its envelope under a stack of paperwork...it expired but my loss was only $8. No way would I let a $30 card sit around...buy gas, groceries, pizza, pay a bill

Thanks for letting you rebate expire in its envelope under a stack of paperwork. This encourages the manufacturers to offer more rebates for us.

Agreed. This is what they hope people will do and this is why they offer rebates in the first place.

OP the terms are clear that expired cards will not be replaced. It sucks but you waited too long. You had 3 months. Always use rebate cards as soon as possible.

It was a simple mistake that has never happened in my fifteen years of doing rebates. It could've been blantant because It was one of 20 baby reward amounts vs the $60-125 range rewards. I had three months of constant, large mailers coming in w up to ten -fifteen rewards inside. I was fast spending Hugh $$$$ cards while keeping the large stack in a dedicated pouch. But, i left that one opened, envelope out for some reason. I remember it like, yesterday. I uttered, Wth, when I saw the TDirect logo. It had its last $2 expire the day before, I uncovered it. LOL

Whatever..I have ruled over almost every processor, anyway. (EDITED the last line..somethings need to stay secret)

Amex card from Tiger Direct says the funds will never expire and good through June2020.
Never read the back to see that they carged a maintenance fee every month after 4th month.

Now has zero value.

Never will be conned or misled again.

goood advice above to buy gift cards with the money.
