Refurbished Fitbit One (14-day return) in black and burgundy for $39.99 with free shipping at Groupon. Sale ends 5/11.

The cheapest I've seen for a One with all its accessories and some kind of warranty. Note that Groupon doesn't claim a warranty for this item, only a return period.

The One is nice for people (guys, especially) who want the activity tracking but want to wear a real watch or no watch at all or don't want to look oh-so-trendy with a Fitbit.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I've had bad luck with Groupon refurbs in the cell phone dept. Have others fared better?

I'd say for the most part their refurbs are YMMV, they use small vendors to fulfill orders, no guarantees other than the 30 days or so groupon gives you (no fitbit warranty). Honestly with the new fitbit models coming out, you can generally find closeout deals on new old stock.

These are all good points. I've not seen any NOS of these models lately, though.

I have no clue about the quality of the refurbished One here, but the Fitbit One is a good tracker. I've been using one for about 3 years and haven't had any issues - other than loosing the first one on the top of a volcano (which Fitbit replaced for free when I mentioned it on social media).

The phone app and windows interface are simple but work well. Easy to see what's going on and just really great to get these metrics on a daily basis to keep up on being active.

slow night at the races? Not sure how this became FP (well yes I do, as Groupon pays good referral fees)

I sold mine last month (for $60, so this is a deal) because it was too small and kept falling out of my pocket. Wish there was an easy way to wear this on my wrist, but then again these things are far more accurate being worn on your lower half.

Does this work with the Windows Phones? I bought wife UP2 recently, it was $20 and seems to work well so far. Now her sister wants one, but she has Windows Phone.

I'm tempted to get one just in case my current one finally dies. I'm at 9.5 million steps and counting with it, and the only difference I notice is that the battery life is more like 6-8 days now instead of 10+ that it used to be.

Used Welcome or Save10 and got another $10 off (has to be a new account so I just made another one). My girlfriend's mom lost her fitbit when we were on vacation, so at $32 AC, this was a steal, even if it is refurbished.

I bit. Thanks OP.
