Secondipity via eBay has the Sony XBR X900C for $1299.99. Looks like they dropped the price to match their site. You can purchase an extended warranty via the Consumer Priority Service Warranty(CPS) link at the bottom of the listing.

BuyDig had it for $1200 (BNIB) on Saturday. Similar deal should be coming back soon.

However, BuyDig model was 810C, Sony 65

drool Damn that's a good deal for a well rated TV.

I'd bite but I promised myself that my next TV is going to be OLED, so I'm just gonna keep playing the waiting game before I upgrade.

What is your point if they are totally different models?

This is the notorious "light bleed" model from Sony, if you can ignore that it's a great TV.

8 TU's, not one sold :-)

If it was any other model with HDR/3D, but not this one...

This one has really bright and obvious light bleeding in the corners and bottom. It is annoyingly visible in bright room. Absolutely worthless in dark room...I would say don't buy unless given free.

It's paid advertisement, why isn't this FP yet. That's where all paid advertisements belong Big Grin

I'd be extremely wary of buying refurbished tvs from anyone. Refurbished TVs are often just open box returns without the refurbishing. A few bad pixels, light bleed, black uniformity, and other issues often go unnoticed from technological laymans.

I worked at best buy home theater and we would constantly get returns on the 55" model because of the light bleeding. That being said, the 65" did fix a bit of the light bleeding even after the software update but it was still noticeable at times. I would recommend the x850c model over this one.

secondipity refurb checks for light leakage so the ones you receieved basically have quality controlled twice.
tv that has issues or damages are then sold here:

http://www.liquidation.com/auctio...v&flag=new

and on liquidation.com you can see the grading sheet on all of the TV that didn't make it to their secondipity site. both sites are owned by liquidity services inc.
