this sounds amazing and is certainly a good deal depending upon the hotel quality- it says "private deal available only for subscribers"? Before filling out all the info it's requesting and then clicking submit - what is the catch on that statement?

My in laws just did this same deal about a month back. Def the off season. The govt subsidizes it that's why it's so cheap. Also recommended upgrade to a better hotel which they did and total was about 550 a person. Oh also fsther in law said at the restaurants the wine was really cheap about a buck or so a glass when converted into US dollars. He was expecting it to taste like crap but said it was quite good. Also they are not cheap about pouring you a glass almost fill it up.

not if you're a beach lover and used to tropical climate. But from June to August it's a beautiful place to visit with summer festivals, feasts and beach weather. They always run these deals in the off season.

I fly with Azores/Sata Airlines all the time never had a problem. You can't expect Jet blue kind of service or high tech planes but it's decent and also the only carrier that services the Azores from the USA direct. Just noticed this deal is to my hometown In Terceira island, can't miss watching a street bullfight.

Looks awesome. Unfortunately getting from MCO to BOS is about 1/2 the cost of the Azores trip in Dec... Frown

My wife and I just came back from this exact trip 3 weeks ago. Wonderful time and cannot recommend more for the price. The cost is attractive but to make it worth your while you will need to rent a car for the whole trip which is about 200 Euro for the week. Do not stay at the Angra Garden hotel, its in the middle of the city which has cobble stone and barely fits a single car. The hotel Do Caracol is slightly more expensive and waaaay worth the seaside location, its about a $80 difference for the week, not per night. Awesome scenery, great rich culture, and the euro is down so eating and drinking is about HALF what it is in the USA. Flight from boston is only 4 hours so you don't really have jet lag. Book it far out and keep an eye on RT to Boston, we did it for $50 one way from Chicago and 95 the other way through southwest. The bulk of the trip cost is included, all you need to do is worry about eats n' drinks. Beers are like 70 cents American. I ate filet mingon every other night for $10. Anyone has any questions I researched the crap out of this trip, completed it, and cant recommend it more. THEY LOVE AMERICANS! Now is the time to go before its a tourist destination which it is slowly turning into.
