just a heads up. major issues with all Linux kernels after 3.4.1-4.3.xx...I don't know if the newest kernels support these bay trail chips but as of 2 months ago had severe random complete system hangs. any new info or update to the contrary would be great and would let me buy a couple of these

Any good source for affordable and legal Windows 7 or 8 license? I need this to run BlueIris in order to run my cameras off central device instead of having different NVRs.

I tried BlueIris on my A8 cpu and it used maximum cpu power. This would probably not going work unless the software has improved from 2 years ago.

This looks like the basis of a simple pfSense box.

Blue iris now works with Intel HD offloading. I am not sure about this CPU but I run 15 1080p cameras at 15FPS on an i3 4150. Major improvement.

Pretty good deal for a low end HTPC build. Would probably bight if I just didn't build 2x Am1 builds. So many good deals on budget hardware lately.
