Good deal for new hardware. Would highly recommend, especially for people who want Skylake and SLI/Crossfire. Memory is a bit on the lower side of frequency, but most won't notice it unless you're trying to overclock like crazy.

My understanding is the performance is equivalent just power usage is lower. should have better overclock range with the 6600k. 6700k would offer more performance with hyper threading I'd assume. Plus the ddr4 might help but my knowledge of light room is limited.
