I have been waiting for a long time for a deal on these. Most likely this will be my last item on the Gladiator.
http://www.hayneedle.com/product/...earbox.cfm

Listed for $229. Apply coupon TT-9267 for 10% off. There is a $10 oversize item fees and tax .
Dont forget the Cashback from other sites.

Also Check your Amex card for hayneedle cashback. I had a $30 back on $150 on both my cards. Making this deal even sweeter. I hope this helps someone .

Thanks to Brossow for his summary. Adding it here.
Wasn't gonna do it, but after running the numbers I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Here's the breakdown:

-$216.59 at Hayneedle after 10% coupon + $10 shipping fee
+$6.20 Hayneedle rewards (and more available if I write a review/upload a pic)
+$30.00 statement credit from Amex
+$19.49 cash back from Be Frugal (9%)
+$10.00 new user bonus cash back from Be Frugal
+$0.88 (3%) extra if I take the Be Frugal cash back above in the form of an Amazon GC

TOTAL: -$150.02 (or less, if I write a review as above)

No responses? This is the 2nd cheapest I think I've ever seen a premiere gearbox. The fact u can pair this with the amex offer (if you have amex) makes this crazy slick. The oversize $10 fee is a little annoying though.

Final Price Delivered to your door
Total $216.59 (without amex)

-30 if you have the amex promo
-------------------
186.59 with amex delivered

Slick!!!!

Not seeing the value making this $116 more than the premier 30" hang on cabinet. Rubber top is useless really and do you really need wheels to roll it this type of cabinet around? I really like Gladiator stuff but I just don't see the value in this even at the cheaper price point.

This is much more structurally sound than the hanging boxes. They're made to handle more of a beating that the wall cabinets. These are always a lot more expensive than the $100 wall boxes.

These are designed to support weight on top, and weigh 100. You can use this as a rolling mobile work platform. The wall boxes weigh around 48 lbs, and will dent if you set anything on top. The casters alone are around 30. You are basically getting a premiere welded gearbox for a little over the price of the RTA ones notmal nonsale price.

They are both welded and made of the same gauge steel. The shelf handles 15 extra pounds, how exactly is it built to take more of a beating besides the bumpers and what exactly would someone be using this type of small cabinet for that needs that type of abuse?

The price is always more because the casters are $50 and the top is $100 sold separately.

If it is the same, why is the rolling cabinet 50 pounds (double) the weight. I have sat on the premier gear box, leaning on the one from the wall makes it start to bend. To say they are basically the same in a misnomer. Different products for different uses. I wouldn't drop a 12" miter saw on top of a 30" premiere wall box. I don't know why you would even consider using a wallbox on ground level. That is the main difference between premiere and RTA on this item, and I think the premiere supports a little more weight. These come with no exposed screws, and rubber bumpers on the outside to prevent you from dinging them up when you have two or more under a table. At this point I have 3 of the 30", 2 of the 24", and now 2 of these modular gearboxes. (and of course 4 of the basic gladiator workbenches <3 sears $75 clearance) The last one I bought was 3~ years ago for 199 from sears, a price that I have not seen come close since.

Gosh, I dunno. Could it be because that in addition to the heavy casters, top and rubber bumpers, this rolling model, although 2" narrower, is more than twice the depth of the wall version and more than twice the volume? The Premiere Wall GearBox is 30W x 12D x 30H in (10,800 cubic inches). The rolling model here is 28W x 25D x 34.5H in (24,150 cubic inches).

FWIW, the rolling cabinet is actually 96 lbs. The wall cabinet is 48 lbs. Check the specs:

Wall: http://www.hayneedle.com/product/...earbox.cfm

So what you are saying is... they are not the same. Got it. I'm simply trying to explain that the wall box and the gearbox are not the same usage.

Uh ... the guy you were slamming said they were made of the same gauge steel, not that they were the same cabinet or the same usage. Got it?

lol. Not worth my time. I posted information and didn't slam anyone. The only one being snarky for no reason is you.

It's a good product. I'm not sold on whether this is going to arrive in one piece as gladiators packaging is pretty crap as far as protection during shipping goes.

You posted a question that suggested you didn't understand the post to which you were replying: "If it is the same, why is the rolling cabinet 50 pounds (double) the weight." I answered your question with data and supporting links, and then you responded as if the other guy had said something he hadn't. The info you posted wasn't correct and wasn't relevant. Sorry if posting accurate information is now considered snarky. Smilie

this is a great deal. grabbed one. cannot compare this with wall mounted. this can handle heavy objects placed on top and can be moved around. looks like Amazon price matched to $239 ,but still the 10% off gives an edge. great reviews on home depot.

Exactly. One is a mobile work platform. One is secured to a wall. Crazy deal if you have the Amex promo.

Here is a comparison between the premier and the RTA.

FWIW, in addition to the coupon and Amex cash back, Be Frugal also offers 9% cash back for Hayneedle as well as a $10 bonus to new users. Might have to Google it, as I suspect any link to it will probably get blocked here on SD. Having said that, I've never used either site, so caveat emptor.
