This is a great price for this. I would get it if I had not just bought the Arc4 from the Best Buy deal 2 days ago.

I've owned Arc3, 4 and now this one. By far the best.

OoOo I'm very tempted. This is a great deal.

I've never used a decent electric shaver. I think it's time I make a good investment for shaving.

T/U. Yup, picked one up. Very excited!

I have an old arc IV still going strong. Is the arc v that much of a jump?

There was another Front Page Arc5 deal a few months ago for around $100 on Amazon. But the model numbers seem slightly different... anyone aware of the differences?

In for 2. Cheaper than amazon. I guess I'll found out if it's better than my 3 year old Panasonic model.

Edit: finally arrived, going from a Panasonic ES-LA63, there is actually 2 blades, smaller in the new version, but there are pins that move for the other 3 blades. When I started shaving with this new guy. There's a definite difference in terms of angled shaving. It seemed faster. Both shavers refuse to run with the power cord plugged in. Was it worth $150? I'll try to update this review in the next 2 weeks.

Yes

I have an old Arc3 NiCad, and Arc4 LI, and picked up the Arc5 from Panasonic the last time it was on sale for this price. It has a noticeably higher speed motor, and shaves much faster, many times only a single pass leaves a smooth face....amazing shaver The LI batteries are always a big plus, they hold a charge much longer and without the memory problems of NICad batteries.

If memory serves, the 65 has the sensor, the 61 doesn't. Beyond that the body and display will be a bit different, but the motors, blades, batteries, head movement, etc should be nearly if not totally identical.

I'm on the fence. have had an arc 3 and arc 4 for over 10 years now and I love them, but not sure this will be THAT much better of a shave. plus didn't we learn the incremental blades are really just powered by the two primary ones anyways?
