Notice that this is a low-budget folding bike, so there are are lot of drawbacks. Check out the video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LyE1dkVyyM

i own an expensive 18lb dahon folder. the reason this is cheap is because it's heavy, so the folding is useful but is not meant to be carried much so i would not recommend this for commuting to work or shopping, where you need to carry the bike all the time you will be indoors.

Bought it. Broken on arrival. Had to go through the hassle of getting new parts. Two weeks later, different components broke.

You can trust the other reviews, they certainly are in the majority. But the bike I purchased was an absolutely worthless piece of junk that I wouldn't waste a dime on.

That's like asking for a sub-$10k luxury car. I have yet to encounter a reliable and lightweight folding bike for even close to $200. Source: 10+ years of bike retail.

I personally purchased this product and added the SquareTrade 2-Year Bike/Scooter Extended Protection Plan for $11.99. If anyone thinks this a bad deal, please do let me and others know.

Thank you,

In for one, I live in the city and had been looking for an ideal bike >$200. This fits my needs exactly and never thought to get a foldable bike. Not sure about the SquareTrade Warranty. Schwinn covers their bikes for life so this doesn't really make sense. Want to go into detail of what it includes?

I didn't have a chance to look at Schwinn's warranty before placing the order. I did see that the SquareTrade warranty [amazon.com] has a 30-return cancellation policy, so I figured I'll get it first, then figure it out later; also, the SquareTrade warranty was - I think, erroneously - priced at $11.99, and it is now $14.64.

I'll check out Schwinn's warranty on this bike later. If you have details, let me know. I may go ahead and cancel the SquareTrade warranty.

Thank you for sharing. I have written that into the original post above, but I also pointed out that Target.com charges a $20 handling fee, whereas Amazon.com does not.

Garbage bike with garbage parts. Save your money. This isn't worth more than $50.

If one is getting this for traveling, I don't think this is the one. 41 pounds is a bit on the heavy side.
