I purchased 8 for home and business. These will keep my modems and routers working which in turn will allow me to still accept credit cards during power outages. Home use for emergency, and use of cell phones and iPads during outages.

really could use two of these for the router and modem in separate locations but don't have a Sams membership...

$24.99 on Amazon, which still a good price if you have prime. Prices fluctuated from $40-$70 online

Looks like a great deal. I bought the BGE70m at Sam's when they were $10 each, and that was a great deal, but I would probably spring another six bucks to get the two USB plugs for charging or powering things.

Thanks! I will look for them if I go to Sam's soon.

saw these on clearance the last time I was at sam's, had no need for them and no profit margin, so passed on them

Not too often where I'm at in michigan, but for $16 I believe it's worth the investment.

Buy this and it will never go out. I had two outages, one eight hours and the other 20 hours. Bought a generator four years ago and electric service has been rock solid since.

Same here.. The things I would want to use with my wifi would be streaming services and I can't power a TV with this. Can't plug in a laptop because it doesn't have ground but if I could then I'd get like 10 minutes of charge. I have external chargers if I need them, but if my power is out for more than an afternoon, I'll probably have bigger issues than my wifi..

just remember guys if the power outage is large enough or just by chance reaches your internet providers local point of presence then your net goes down too. even if your modem is up, it isn't going to get sync.
not like old school phone lines, modern internet links have boosters, repeaters, filters etc along the route also which need power.
best way around this is cellular fall back on your router (most routers these days have USB options for this). still technically the same issue of the cell tower losing power is there, but just less likely, and they usually have better back up power.
