triple minutes for life

free shipping is not working.

use code friend1 for $5 off but then it tacks a shipping charge of $4.95 plus tax for most.

nice cheap replacement phone for tracfone / safelink users.

Nice deal, and thanks for posting, but according to Tracfone "[t]his phone is not compatible with SafeLink service."

I would be curious to hear from anyone who has experience with reconditioned phones from Tracfone.

I got a reconditioned LG Power from them last month. Indistinguishable from brand new, except for the packaging.

I have purchased about a hundred refurbished phones from tracfone over the years, I can recall only 1 or 2 that had minor scratches on them. They look like new in brown boxes.

Its CDMA (Verizon network) so not really for unlocking in that sense

No, they needed to be Sprint branded (and now 12+ months in use for prepaid before switching to R+) for that

Looks like Verizon 3G. So this will work on page plus standard plan ?

I read the comments and it seems as though some people seem to think that this phone can be used with a SafeLink account/SIM card, while others claim that it is not allowed. Is there anyone on here who can answer this question for sure?

I recently got SafeLink service, and after receiving the phone that they give you for free (which I'm certainly appreciative of), I couldn't help but want to actually use a smartphone instead. I'm not looking to manipulate their data services or to do anything inappropriate with it; I just think it would be nice, and convenient, to be able to use the phone used to make texts and calls to also be able to connect the Internet via Wi-Fi. For $20, it seems like this is definitely worth at least checking out. And if it doesn't work, the phone could probably be re-sold for at least $20.

However, in the meantime, it would be nice if somebody could try to answer for sure whether or not this phone - or any Android smartphone - will actually work with SafeLink service?

Also, does anyone know if you could buy one of the $1 LTE TracFone SIM kits (that were recently/possibly still available at Best Buy's website) and have your SafeLink service transferred over to one of those SIM cards? Again, not to try to access any sort of data service that they don't allow, but just to be able to use the Safelink service with any unlocked smartphone.

Can anyone confirm if it is the VZW version? Does it say VZW on the back or Tracfone?

Has anyone received this phone yet? If so, can you possibly comment on the SafeLink-compatibility question?

Edit: OK, I just got off the phone with SafeLink customer service and was specifically told that SafeLink service will work with Android phones, but there have been some issues with getting the service to activate/work properly on some Android phones. However, they are allowing the SafeLink service to be transferred to and used with an Android phone. I was also specifically told that you are now allowed, after a recent update, to transfer your SafeLink service to a TracFone SIM card kit and then use it in any unlocked phone. It's 3:57 p.m. Arizona time and I just got off the phone with SafeLink customer service within the past 5 minutes.
