Use coupon code GT8DLR93 for an extra $25 off.

Lowest price I've seen on this monitor by a good $400-500. Note that you will need a graphics card with two displayport outputs to run this display at native resolution. Getting the display to run at native resolution could be screwy depending on your computer/graphics hardware, worth researching before you buy.

This is a fantastic price. I would prefer a 31 inch but I don't think Dell makes a 5K model.

Nope, but I got a free tin of Ms. Field's cookies with my order LOL. Also, do you hate resolution scaling?

Dang, I didn't know this monitor even existed.
I wish I didn't know.
Now, I really want it.

Then again, probably don't have adequate Gfx card(s) to drive it.

For now I'll stay safely with my older 27 and 30" UltraSharps, which I love. (but, yes, still want this).

I just bought one. I thought they would run out. Used the $25 coupon. I have a GTX 950 card which has the two display ports. I have a new computer with the 6700 chip. A slight inconvenience is that all of the USB ports are on the back instead of having some of them on the side. However, I have a das keyboard which has two USB ports on the keyboard and needs two ports to supply the power. I also have a wireless mouse. So these devices will permanently use three of them. That leaves two more on the back, two on the keyboard and my desktop (pizza box) computer has two in the front and four in the back. Also has USB-C

I don't really even need a 5K but I bought it anyway. Its a business expense so my net cost will be about $600! This was originally $2,500. Dell is now selling it for $2,199. Who would pay that much for it? Lowest price I found just now was $1,539.

I have some external sound bars and miscellaneous monitors plus an all in one computer, Dell XPS 2710 that I have been using as a display, all of which I will sell. I had been looking at a 30 inch 16:10 display. I have been using a 27 inch monitor for four years and it is great; 30 inch might be too large. I had looked at the HP 5K display which is down to about $1,100. They also have a care pack which extends the warranty to five years, if you buy it from them or one of their dealers at a higher price. I think the Dell is slightly better, also has the built in speakers, HP does not.

Quill sent me another coupon for $20 off so I bought some Epson ink for $105 and saved another $20.

Thank you Dianoda !!!!!!!

Sure, display will look nice. I would expect picture quality similar to iMac5K or it should be better.

As for 144Hz would say I feel difference between 60Hz and higher rate for office apps. I am running old Seiki 4K 39' at 120Hz 1920x1080 and it feels less laggy than 60Hz displays.

That's like complaining about your truck purchase because there is a good deal on a bugatti.

I hear that. I'm still rockin a U2711. The want is strong, but the bank account is weak.

Anyone know of how this stacks up to a P2715Q? I know it's a bit of an apples-oranges thing, but I'd love to hear a firsthand account.
