this is a great deal. really liked this device when visiting the Microsoft store last weekend. ended up picking up a Lenovo Miix because it had similar specs for a few hundred less. that being said, this is a nicer device.

Careful, awful reviews on Amazon. In fact, the only positive reviews on Amazon are from Vine members who got it free. Take out of the vine reviews and it's pretty much one star. Be sure to read the reviews prior to purchasing. It is a good price, but these seem to have a lot of problems and significant design flaws.

Why does Amazon have to suddenly suck so much? They used to be honest and reliable. Now when I read the word "honest" on Amazon, it makes me cringe.

How do you know that Amazon reviews are less honest and reliable than in the past?

In my opinion, because it's hard to believe a product is good when the only positive reviews are the ones that say, "This product was given to me for free/at a significant discount for my honest and unbiased review."

You can't tell something's worth if you got it for free, so you'll never know if it's worth it or not.

It's Amazon's unholy alliance with SD, only shady products/vendors run paid advertisements on here.

I gave a mediocre review to a product on Amazon, the manufacturer offered to credit me the purchase price to delete my review.

Reviews for this thing are bad. 2-4 hours battery life for an M processor. Seriously dell?! I'm guessing the engineers didn't take into account the 4k touch screen or what?

I disregard all vine reviews, they are worthless and annoying.

I might have considered it at this price. But the battery life is really really bad.

Isnt 4k a bit of overkill for a 12" screen. Not to mention its using a core m processor. My laptop is 1080p on a 14" and i find it perfectly fine.
