Hey Guys,

There is an offer in Swagbucks Discover and Earn section, which says

"Earn 750 SB for donating $5" , which basically means $7.5 in real money, so this is basically a money making offer in my view.
This offer is present under Featured Offers of Discover and Earn.

The SB is credited within 3 days, and by earning another 250 SB through other means , it can be easily redeemed for a $10 GC from the Redeem section.

Feel free to check it out.

Weirdest thing ever... I hit the $20 for $20 charity offer also a bit ago. Why not, just like rebates.

Need to enter CC number? I was hoping to donate 500 SB.
OP, what do you mean "earning another 250 SB through other means"?

Most of these charities are paying Swagbucks for advertising in the hopes of getting donors. Little do they know they are getting a bunch of cheapskates.
"Earning" from a charity, that's a new low - hopefully, many will ignore your shady suggestion, and actually donate instead of steal from the charity.
Thumbs down!

If what the OP saw is the same "charity" that was in my SB offers, it is for the "First Pro Football Team Run by the Fans". I don't consider that a charity, more like entertainment, so I'll gladly take $2.50 from them. Thanks OP.

it's not for a "charity", so donate could be a misleading word. it's for a crowd-funded "pro" football team.

swagbucks is pretty good, but recently, it has been a little harder to earn "bucks", but i have gotten many gift cards from them over the past few years. can also get "cash" in the form of paypal credit.

If you use swagbucks, there are like many ways you can earn SB like watching videos, doing polls, shopping and whole other stuff. This is just one of the way.
So what i meant was if you manage to gather another 250SB, you can redeem it for a $10 GC from there. Hope that clears.

Mate, first of all it is not a charity if you actually follow the link and see the details.
Second, if it was a charity, Swagbucks should not be taking money for their advertising and just host it for free, so if you want to blame anyone for a new low. blame Swagbucks.
Third, the offer is from Swagbucks and not the "charity" itself. Swagbucks themselves would be making millions from advertising, and only sharing a small percentage of that with their users. So yes, i have no problem collecting money from Swagbucks, and donating that money to a real Charity.

Has anyone gotten their SB yet? It's been three days for me and nothing yet. Guess I'm contacting their support people or whatever.
