I have these headphones and they are great. Super comfortable and sound amazing for music without a lot of bass. These are open cans so there is a lot of sound leakage.

These EOL headphones have been going for this much at least a couple of times a month this year. I've heard people getting them for about $45 in the past, so if you want a really good deal, you should hold out.

That being said, if you don't want to spend more than $100 on some open-back headphones, and you don't care about getting the slickest of deals, you can't do better than these.

These sound like $150-200 headphones, and they are also really easy to drive. I got 3 pairs when they were $45-50, but $59 is still an incredible bargain. Super detailed sound and extremely comfortable... they punch waaaaay out of their class. And they will likely sound great with your computer's headphone jack.

If you are curious, I own Senn HD600's and have owned Stax Kyogo electrostat headhphones in the past. I've tried most of the $150 competitors from companies like Audio-Technica and Beyer. I would take these over anything in that pricerange except maybe the Senn HD380's.

thanks OP, the velodyne seems to be an awesome deal, on the fence between this and the Velodyne vBold wireless.

Anyone owns vBold? if yes, can you share your experience?

my 2 cents about vquiet: compared to creative live aurvana, sound quality is less desirable, make it worth exactly $30, no more. noise cancellation is better than logitech ue6000 though.

I was about to post this, why won't OP fix his title?
What's so cool about this receiver is, it had USB Power in the back, which means things like Chromecast or Fire Stick can be powered straight off the unit, although it doesn't say if it's constant or switched.

Recently a similarly basic Pioneer unit was $100 after rebate and that was brand new. I think this is OK for $125 if all you want is better sound. Slap the $85 Monoprice speaker set, you got yourself a nice little budget surround sound that will most likely sound better than any soundbar you can get at similar price point.

Is anyone familiar with HTR-3067? I though HTR series were actually part of HTIB units.

Alternative, RX-V379 for about $200-$220 with at least one HDCP 2.2 input.
Op's post would be a whole lot more reasonable if it was about $100, but if anyone needs one just for the sound and doesn't care that it doesn't have network or ethernet, this is probably one of the best deals out there. I don't know the refurbished reputations, though..
