Frontier loves their surprise cancellations. So you may fly one way and find the other way cancelled. Frontier, Spirit and the like are the Greyhound of the skies.

What happens if the 2nd flight cancels? I remember Frontier being awesome back in 2009, but maybe it has changed since then.

Not sure who their code share partner is now or if they even have one anymore. Usually they'll put you on the next available flight which may be a week later or you pay to hop on a bigger airline and negate all your savings.

Geez, they sound pretty bad, but at least they're not Spirit or the notorious Allegiant.

No. They dont have any code sharing partner. Your only option is to wait for the next flight (Next day or next week)

all airlines cancel flights even the majors, DL might delay you 5 hours so they can say they didnt cancel you flight....

But the big worry is 45% of Allegiant pilots would not let their family fly Allegiant.

Put the bulletproof vest on in Chicago and keep it on when you arrive at Philadelphia.

Fine, don't come to Chicago. I go to work downtown at 2am without a problem. We have more than enough wussies here without easily frightened tourists adding to the population and clogging up the L.

Just like every other major population, stay out of the wrong neighborhoods or move with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.

.....and I liked AIrTran better before Frontier got involved. Wish I had a reason to take this deal.

Don't know what all of these whiny people are talking about; I've spent a good deal of time in both cities and never had a problem in either one. Unless you count Chicago in January, which just sucks for reasons that have nothing to do with the people.

Frontier, on the other hand, deserves all the negative comments. Flew with them a couple of times and it was a mistake I will not repeat. The *possible* savings are just absolutely not worth it; I would pay more for peace of mind with a better airline.
