For $149 (free prime or free super saver shipping, prime shipping may only be standard shipping on this), this gets you the following:

Kit [amazon.com], containing:
  • DDS181-02 1/2 in Drill/driver (also see individual tool listing [amazon.com])
2 torque selections, for 0-500 RPM or 0-1,700 RPM, 18+1 clutch settings, etc
  • 25618 Impact Driver (also see individual tool listing [amazon.com])
1,500 in/lbs of torque (heavier duty than even many recent 18v deals, including the recent Bosch refurb deal via CPO on rakutan, which is only 1,150)
2,800 RPM and 3,200 BPM, 5.7" head. Standard 1/4" hex
  • BC660 charger and 2x 2.0 Ah 18v Lithium SlimPack batteries.
  • An apparently rather worthless softpack "case" aka bag.
  • 3 year tool warranty and 2 year free battery replacement plan according to Bosch's banner on the page.
Bosch WC18CF-102 18-Volt Wireless Charging Starter Kit [amazon.com]:
Contains Wireless Charger, Frame, and an 18-Volt 2.0Ah wireless battery.

There are currently 2 Bosch promotions running on Amazon. This uses a weird quirk of how the promotions apply as discounts to get the free item promo in one to also qualify for the $20 off in another. It's not actually complicated to make it work.

Bosch $20 off $100 Cordless Promotion [amazon.com]
Bosch free 18-volt product promotion [amazon.com]

The ORIGINAL Bosch [amazon.com] CLPK232-181 kit[/url] (not 'A') with DDS181-02 1/2 in drill/driver and 25618 impact driver is $169.00 on Amazon. Strangely, it's included in the Free product promo despite being hundreds cheaper than the other sets in that promo, and its more recent update (slightly newer drill, but this older set gets nearly perfect 5 star reviews too) isn't either. This set does not qualify for the $20 off $100… on its own.

New Steps:
saved in case things change again:
Old Steps, possibly not working for the wireless charger now:
Note: if the link here to the promo does not show items, go to the drill/driver combo product page link farther above and find the promo thumbnail on it. Click through from there, then the steps are the same.
  • Go to the Bosch free 18-volt product promotion [amazon.com].
  • Click "See all picks" In Step 1.
  • Select the CLPK232-181 kit.
  • In Step 2, select the WC18CF-102 wireless charging starter kit. This qualifies for the $20 off $100 promotion.

note: You may be tempted to select the 6Ah fatpack battery instead. You can do this, you will get the free battery, but you won't get the $20 off as it doesn't qualify for that promotion.
  • Click "Add all to cart" on the right.

Checkout. Enjoy. Either use the wireless charging kit as an extra battery or flip it.

We're going to be building a fence, and as tempting as the lower prices on some recent deals have been, the torque on the impact drivers has been a concern for driving longer screws into pressure treated posts. I came across this weird intersection of promos while trying to find other options, and since I don't currently have a 1/2" drill for things like handling concrete mixers which usually won't fit something smaller, it seemed fairly decent at the moment if you have some intermediate needs. Some of the reviews describe handling well for some pretty punishing contractor grade work.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

FYI, for as long as this will continue to last, I believe I've managed to get links that specifically point to the Amazon listings for each, but otherwise click in the additional buying options:

Amazon [amazon.com]
Bosch WC18CF-102 18-Volt Wireless Charging Starter Kit [amazon.com]

Make sure the seller is Amazon.com.
Make sure you have the original CLPK232 kit, not the CLPK232A
Good luck, they're both at 1-2 months! I recommend making sure they're set to ship separately at checkout!

kdong1996 has managed to keep this working by adding both items separately to cart, then checking out:

You can still get the wireless charger option by adding the combo and wireless charger from their individual links. Discount will still apply during checkout

good price. I paid $142.80 back in 2011, but that was before Amazon started collecting sales tax in TX. Be prepared to swap batteries as you're driving long 3" screws on a fence job. No complaints though.

yep dead deal.

Nice find. I would personally choose these over the similarly priced Milwaukee M18 deal that I posted yesterday, but I'm sure that the red tool fans will find this debatable.

I hope that you mean mortar mixer rather than concrete mixer, but mixing either requires a lot from a drill and I would recommend stepping up to the power of a corded one for that application. This Bosch 18v should be able to do it, but it will be working hard for several minutes at a time and create a lot of heat and might not be the healthiest thing for the drill.

If you can't get to the deal from the Promotion link, try going from the product page [amazon.com], scroll down to where it lists the free tool promotion, and click through from there.

I can't see either item still listed for me when I click into the promo, because I bought them, and it's possible the link URL I copied for the promo is specific to that now, if you're not seeing these in there. I'll see if I can fix it, if that's the case.

Nevermind, just had it work fine in an incognito window from the promo links here, so not sure why it's giving you an issue? Make sure you use the expanders, this combo is hidden when the page first loads.

Edit: I did adjust the promo page links a little in the OP in case that's the issue, but otherwise try loading from the product page, make sure you're on the "original" selection, and click the promo thumbnail.

I almost went with that and it was a good deal too!

You're probably right about the concrete mixing, but I also have some thinset that needs mixing so at least it will be fine for that. Either way, it'll be nice to have something with more power than my little 1/4" chucked drill without having to pull out all the extension cords =)

Deal works for me. Try the promotion page as the jumping off point: http://www.amazon.com/b?node=14392302011

Then select this combo set, then the wireless charger. The discounts will be taken off in the cart.

That method no longer works.

I have literally smoked a Craftsman cordless drill mixing thinset mortar. I couldn't tell that the drill was smoking because of the thinset dust, until I started to smell it. The Bosch is higher quality than the Craftsman, so hopefully your results will be different.

Mostly I'm just hoping for something that can help smooth it out a bit more than I seem to get it by hand, but thanks for the warning, I'll be cautious!

Try the modified links for the promotion, or try using the combo page as a step off for the promotion. I can't tell if it's the slickdeals link modifier that's making it an issue or not, but I can still get it to come up in an incognito window. Can you clarify what it is that you're seeing?
